SUMMARY:TheAviation Accessory TechnicianIII is responsible for performingmaintenance onallfuel, oil, or air accessories bycivil aviation articles inaccordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.This role requires technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assembleallfuel controls, orallgovernors, or all fuel, oil, or air

accessoriesif designated assembler.

Test limited fuelcontrols, or limited governors, or all fuel, oil,

air accessories if designated test bench operator.

Operate test equipment as needed to ensure accessories

passfunctiontest.

Utilize hand toolsandspecialty tools for precision measurements

daily.

Read and interpret technical data and drawings.

Generate data plates for components completed withuseof a laser

system.

Verify all accessories are tested to theappropriate specificationsto

ensure airworthiness.

Troubleshootaccessoriesfailing test or set up todetermineroot cause

of failure.

Work closely with quality assurance and engineering teams

toidentifyand resolve technical issues.

Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS(INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):

Associatesdegree.

2+ years of relevant/technical work experience

OR anadditional2 years of specific work experience in lieu ofdegree.

Proficiencyin usingprecision measuring instruments,hand tools, and

test equipment.

Diagnose and resolvetechnical failures.
