Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector's role is to maintain the Vollrath Standard Quality with Supplier Products and control Service Parts Inventories.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform reworks, FQA's and Warranty returns inspections. Inspect all items on PINS for accuracy.

Report to SQE/Engineering any items that are out of spec.

Maintain open communications between internal/external customers.

Support Vollrath satellite facilities as a resource when needed.

Photograph and record spare parts to assist with CSR/TSR documentation.

Perform FQA's for items received on PINS to get them received to stock.

Keep up with receiving Service Parts, Incoming PO's, Quality Inspections, Medical Equipment and Containment Requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Technical School or College Degree. Computer skills. JDE, KIKS, KRONOS, Word, Excel.

Be able to communicate well with others.

Be self-motivated.

Be able to start an assignment and follow it through to completion in a timely manner.

Knowledge on the use of electrical testing equipment, set-up of test stands for all @types of inspections. Read and prove owner's manuals are correct and up to date.

Work safely to avoid injury and/or damage to equipment.

Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
