As a Security Officer - Access Control Aero Facility in Kent, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in an aerospace and defense environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

Control access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons at access points to help to deter irregular activities.

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any irregularities.

Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when required for security-related issues or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
