Job Title: Millwright Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment across various sectors, including pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, and food & beverage industries.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment such as gearboxes, motors, pumps, conveyors, and production systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and maintenance.

Perform troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment.

Use precision tools and measuring instruments to ensure proper alignment and fit.

Operate hoists, cranes, dollies, and other rigging equipment to move and position machinery.

Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and safety standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial settings.

Proficiency in mechanical systems, rigging, and alignment techniques.

Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.

OSHA 10 certification preferred.

TWIC, NCCER Basic Rigger, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship completion preferred.

Experience in refrigeration, industrial repair, installation, and maintenance.

Skills in brazing, fabrication, pipe fitting, and plumbing.

Experience with construction, blueprint reading, and piping systems.

Familiarity with welding, HVAC, and commercial construction.

Work Environment

This role involves working in various industrial and pharmaceutical job sites, including construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and occasionally confined spaces. You may be required to travel to multiple locations and work in varying weather conditions. Standard work hours with potential for overtime and weekend shifts are expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
