Summary You will serve as a CUSTOMER ADVOCATE in the COMBAT SYSTEM INTEGRATION, TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT (C00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. *Salary varies per Duty Station: Port Hueneme, CA: $145,180 to $195,200 Norfolk, VA: $126,382 to $193,254 Mayport, FL: $124,531 to $190,424 San Diego, CA: $142,254 to $195,200 Responsibilities You will serve as Customer Advocate, with responsibility for exercising management and operational control over assigned technical services involved with the execution of work assignments pertaining to Naval Combat and Weapon Systems. You will support engineering and systems acquisition requirements as they pertain to the Combat and Weapon Systems of U.S. Navy Ships. You will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the mission objectives, according to applicable guidance and directives, in order to anticipate major facility programming needs and problems. You will apply extensive knowledge of effective management of personnel principles and practices in conjunction with policies, regulations and procedures on acquisition processes and concepts. You will plan, fund, schedule, and coordinate projects in the @context of the individual program and Fleet requirements and budget. You will act as the Point of Contact for existing and new Aegis Fleet tasking, business development, and leadership to personnel and support contractors assigned to Aegis Fleet tasking. You will translate stakeholder needs and expectations into technical statements and assess requirements. You will direct, coordinate, and oversee Aegis Fleet combat systems work across the supporting departments, including monitoring quality of product deliverables, and making decisions on technical and fiscal issues. You will provide project management, such as technical review coordination, financial planning, and development of Task Planning Sheets (TPS), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Statements of Work (SOWs). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing Fleet-facing projects for Combat Systems while building and maintaining a strong, credible relationship between the command and the Fleet regarding in-service support.
