Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Associate, Marketing Strategy and Content Creator for Guest Experience, will drive creative initiatives and strategic marketing efforts that enhance the NBC Studio Tour, Shop, and Guest Experience brand presence. This role requires a collaborative, detail-oriented individual who can balance creativity with operational execution across multiple platforms and teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure all social media, product launch, and marketing materials align with brand design standards and campaign objectives.
Ideate and pitch on event ideas based on company wide initiatives and retail goals
Act as a brand ambassador, cultivating relationships and strategic partnerships with other retailers throughout the center.
Work with the Associate of NBC Tours on execution of events.
Represent the Guest Experience Team at RCO Activations Council Monthly Meetings and Tishman Speyer Planning Meetings.
Responsible for managing development of content for image library, cash wrap content, and signage in the Shop.
Lead quarterly photoshoots and manage video content creation for social platforms-from concept to shoot execution
Collaborate with other NBCUniversal social media accounts to plan and align content with company-wide initiatives.
Develop and maintain the content and event calendar to reflect seasonal campaigns and brand priorities.
Present creative recommendations for events and campaigns informed by performance data, KPIs, and industry trends.
Partner with the Product Development and Snow Commerce teams to plan and update Shop website content, including feature blocks, hero banners, seasonal pages, and fan favorites.
Identify merchandising and promotional opportunities aligned with the eCommerce email calendar.
Liaise with the Creative Director to manage project trackers and coordinate all creative asset needs.
Oversee printing and production of Shop collateral.
Explore and propose future-focused tools and techniques to drive guest engagement across digital, social, and mobile platforms
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
2+ years of experience in an eCommerce, Marketing, Social Media or related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel) suite.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Illustrator.
Understanding of marketing campaigns and social media.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and business segments.
Attention to detail and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and direction.
Must be available for a Monday - Friday shift schedule and the ability to work additional shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays
Willing to work additional hours past scheduled shifts
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
Demonstrated business acumen, with critical thinking and analytical skills
A track record of excellent performance meeting deadlines and objectives
Strong project management skills and experience executing multiple complex and/or strategic brand marketing activities at live events and conferences
A knowledge of NBC network content

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
