Entry-Level Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Focus ONSITE in Newton, Iowa

What You'll Do:

Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and professionally

Provide accurate information about products, services, and retail locations

Process orders and route inquiries to the appropriate departments

Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and deductibles

Obtain pre-authorizations and submit documentation to insurance carriers

Navigate multiple EMR systems to retrieve and enter patient information

Communicate with patients regarding documentation and referral options

Collaborate with Customer Service and Management to identify insurance trends

What We're Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

1+ year of customer service experience (retail, restaurant, or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

Healthcare or insurance

Experience handling inbound calls

Familiarity with medical terminology (CNA or nursing home experience a plus)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
