As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Driver in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer assigned to an access control post in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. This role is a driving position and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access and security-related procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.

Monitor and report security-related concerns, including suspicious persons or activities, to the appropriate personnel.

Follow emergency response procedures as required, including assisting during evacuations or other incidents.

Complete required documentation and logs related to access control and incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
