As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Operations in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with individuals on-site, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related issues that may arise on-site.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe any unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and observe activities within the manufacturing and industrial environment to help to deter unauthorized entry or actions.

Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.

Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as required while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Follow all Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and protocols specific to the manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
