Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Accounting Manager in Maryland Heights, MO to lead the Tapestry accounting team and holds a key role in the Tapestry finance leadership team. In this role you will inspire a non-local team of 8 individual contributors responsible for general ledger, monthly close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, travel and finance systems & analytics.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages, develops and motivates employees performing the activities of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, preparing and reconciling accounting information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures

Prepares internal and external financial reports

Prepares and reconciles financial information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures

Ensures effective internal controls

Identifies and resolves accounting system issues

Reviews and interprets company directives and policies to guide overall accounting policies and practices

Supports the development and deployment of new systems and tools and integration within the Accounting system

Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and banking activities for Tapestry

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

Acquires resources for department activities, leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of accounting experience in teams such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, etc.

Management experience over accounting teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of management experience over accounting teams

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary base pay range $110,000 - $165,000
