SOFTWARE ENGINEER PRINCIPAL

Praxis has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer. Support will focus on DevOps, system administration, and maintenance of various tools. Want to join a talented team of engineers who develop, sustain, upgrade, and enhance software and full system solutions using the latest development tools, libraries, and techniques? What you will be doing:

Responsibilities will include: day to day system upkeep, conducting system monitoring, enhancing the Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline to transfer files between networks, and updating software and operating systems.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to Praxis. The Software Engineer Principal must have:

? Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

? Experience: 7+ years of related experience

? Technical skills: General Unix/Linux experience, to include system monitoring; Linux system administration; Conducting IAVA and security related patching

? Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role

? US citizenship required

? Additional desired technical skills may include:

DevOps experience

MASH

Knowledge of working with the GECC and handling outages

Java software development

Familiarity working in an Agile environment

Jira and Confluence

The likely salary range for this position is $121,680 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
