The Specialized Sales team at Workday helps the company to continue to grow by balancing integrity and innovation, ensuring Workmates have the environment to bring their best self, and get better by pushing and developing themselves and the Workmates around them.About the RoleHere at Workday, our Specialized Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new and customer base revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday's growth of Workday Specialized Products - Adaptive Planning. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals play a key role in guiding new customers on a journey that can see them leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud. In this role, you will:Develop and drive the overall short-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives and builds & maintain long-term relationshipsBe responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners with a focus on deal management and connecting customer needs with specific specialized products Workday solutionsWork with Workday AEs to identify potential Workday solution sales for existing specialized products customersMaintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast dataAbout YouBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based solutions to C-levels in a field sales position AND experience selling a Planning/EPM solutionExperience building and executing a go to market plan focused on Target Account Selling, Demand Generation Activities (Prospecting, Campaigns, Webinars, etc...)Other QualificationsExperience working in a Volume and Velocity business, managing 2 - 3 month sales cycles.Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accountsExperience developing deep product expertise on new products and stays up to date with industry trendsExperience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for prospecting activities and territory managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience wit
