Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Part time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chino, California. In this role, you will provide essential support to human resources operations and act as a key point of contact with our HR and payroll management partner, Optimum HR. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR processes while collaborating with industry professionals. This is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Optimum HR to manage and oversee HR and payroll procedures effectively.

Verify employee time records and prepare accurate payroll submissions on a bi-weekly basis.

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes in accordance with established protocols.

Communicate policies related to timekeeping, benefits, and leave clearly to employees.

Organize and maintain personnel files, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.

Handle HR documentation using a cloud-based system for efficient record-keeping.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR or payroll matters within a timely manner.

Support day-to-day administrative functions to streamline HR operations.

Requirements - Prior experience in administrative or HR roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to work are essential.

Excellent communication skills for clear and precise interactions.

Ability to learn and follow structured HR guidelines and processes.

High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Familiarity with cloud-based systems and standard office software is required.

Reliable and consistent in meeting deadlines and responding to inquiries.

Willingness to work approximately 20 hours per week in a part-time capacity. TalentMatch®
