Work you'll do

The Marketing Technology & Operations (MT&O) practice aligns talent, operating models and the latest marketing technologies with data and analytics tools to personalize the customer experience at every interaction to drive business results. As a member of the MT&O practice, you will be part of a collaborative team of passionate marketing technology experts, who are working at the forefront of innovation in this space.

As a Salesforce MarTech Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to strategize, design, and deliver world class MarTech solutions. You'll learn from leading practitioners, leverage best-in-class technology (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud), and develop the cross-functional and technical skills required to manage complex client programs. Your responsibilities will include:

Participate in end-to-end client implementations of Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including technical requirements gathering, solution design, configuration and activation.

Work with business stakeholders to translate their objectives into actionable user stories.

Manage assigned workstreams, reporting on progress, timelines, and deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, developers, analytics, etc.) to drive project execution and ensure high-impact outcomes.

Apply Agile project management principles - helping organize governance, facilitate agile ceremonies, and enable collaborative decision-making.

Drive enablement and knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring client teams can operate and optimize their Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud environments post-go-live.

The team

Deloitte's Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team creates content and experiences that inspire action. We design and implement technology platforms for personalized marketing across all digital touchpoints, specializing in customer-centric B2B and B2C solutions. Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like AdTech, MarTech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline.

1+ years of project management experience (Agile frameworks preferred).

1-2 years experience delivering solutions with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC ecosystem platforms (i.e. Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, etc.)

Understanding of technical concepts such as API integrations, data transformation (ETL) concepts, SQL, data modeling, and technical architecture.

Experience using collaboration and project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms to manage requirements, tasks, and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for developing client-facing presentations.

Ability to travel 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; comfortable working with sophisticated business and technical challenges and deriving actionable solutions.

Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.

Experience in client-facing consulting or advisory roles

Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, preferred but not required

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,400 to $155,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
