Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Behavioral Data Model Expert with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing data models within complex marketing ecosystems. Expertise in leveraging behavioral data to enhance customer engagement, personalize experiences, and drive Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies. Proficient in the Adobe Martech Stack (Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and business alignment.
Data Strategy & Governance
Define and lead the data strategy for capturing, standardizing, and modeling event interaction data within the SAP Behavioral Data Model.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for key channels from a data perspective, serving as the primary point of contact for all data-related stakeholder interactions and system integrations across event platforms.
Provide actionable recommendations to enhance data quality, consistency, and completeness across systems.
Evaluate and propose changes to the behavioral data model based on business needs, analytical findings, or evolving requirements.
Influence schema and architecture design to ensure alignment with analytics capabilities and strategic business goals.
Collaborate with data stewards, architects, and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.
Perform thorough data validation to ensure event data properly populates the behavioral data model.
Own the Behavioral Data Model for their channels and guide its evolution in alignment with business objectives.
This role should also be capable of owning other channels in sync with the new data initiatives and will collaborate with other team members in writing requirements for implementation.
Own the behavioral data model SLA for the assigned channels to properly serve stakeholders for their analytics needs.
Business Collaboration & Support
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data solutions that support strategic reporting and analytics needs for event interactions.
Translate complex business problems into structured analytical approaches, ensuring clarity in scope and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Work cross-functionally with team members to drive alignment on a unified data strategy.
Act as the data lead for event platforms, responsible for defining and communicating new data-related requirements to relevant platform teams.
Data Exploration & Insight Generation
Conduct deep-dive analyses and root cause investigations using advanced analytics tools to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure data integrity throughout the analytical process and effectively document and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications : To be successful in this role you have:
10 years of Experience in expertise in designing and implementing behavioral data models to capture and analyze customer interactions across channels
Deep experience in data architecture, attribution, funnel modeling, and performance frameworks
Deep experience working in various MarTech ecosystems ( Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing Cloud or similar technologies)
Strong command of data warehousing concepts, Adobe Experience Cloud, ServiceNow, and modern BI platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or similar technologies
Executive presence and strategic mindset-able to guide investment and influence cross-functional decision
A buying group orientation, and the data models to support it

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 168,800 - 385,500 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
