Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term potential. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer queries are addressed promptly and professionally.

Provide exceptional customer service through email correspondence and accurate data entry.

Assist with order entry and maintain detailed customer records.

Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage information effectively.

Troubleshoot basic issues related to products, including occasional handling of gas lines and equipment.

Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and enhance efficiency.

Participate in training sessions to gain expertise in company processes and systems.

Manage time effectively, adhering to scheduled hours and lunch breaks.

Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive office environment.

Prepare for increased call volumes during busy seasons by staying organized and proactive. Requirements - Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for managing data and documentation.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with customers effectively.

Ability to troubleshoot basic product issues and provide solutions.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Adaptable and coachable attitude, eager to learn and grow professionally.

Ability to work with tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches when required.
