Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves entering purchase orders and subcontract purchase orders into our accounting software, performing filing and scanning tasks, and managing extensive data entry duties. This is an excellent entry-level position for those looking to start a career in accounting, purchasing, or office administration.

Responsibilities

Enter purchase orders and subcontract purchase orders in accounting software.

Perform filing and scanning of documents.

Handle extensive data entry tasks.

Complete all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 3 years of overall experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

High School Diploma.

Ability to @type 60+ words per minute.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in accounting and/or purchasing is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a corporate office environment with excellent onsite amenities for employees. Business casual dress code is observed. The work hours are from 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is an onsite, Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
