family by choice Overview: We are seeking a Lead Construction Services
Engineer to join our growing team and oversee multi-phase transportation
projects. This role involves coordinating personnel, managing work
assignments, and overseeing junior staff to ensure successful project
execution. This Opportunity: Lead construction efforts on complex,
multi-operational transportation projects. Monitor construction
activities for compliance with legal, safety, and environmental
standards. Apply engineering and technical expertise to support
construction operations. Conduct final inspections to ensure project
completion meets specifications. Provide expert-level field observations
across multiple large and small-scale projects. Oversee daily
documentation of certified work and input of quantities into
record-keeping systems or contract administration software. Lead
post-construction activities including finalizing quantities,
inspections, and preparing/negotiating change orders and pay estimates.
Track contractor schedules and progress, communicating updates to senior
construction staff and project managers. Essential Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a
related field. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), or ability to
obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe. Proficiency with WisDOT
AASHTOWare Project (AWP). Onsite construction experience. Strong skills
in Microsoft Office Suite. Highway Technician Certification Program
(HTCP) certification, or ability to obtain. Ability to work in varied
weather conditions and terrain. Willingness to travel and work overtime
as needed. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of construction experience.
Proven leadership experience in construction settings. Proficiency with
Civil 3D. Experience in civil or highway design. This position requires
an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver\'s
license and a driving record whichmeets the requirements of SEH\'s

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of \$85,000 and
\$105,000 annually based on skill set and experience. Check out our full
