Job Title: Warehouse Worker in Fremont, CA paying $20/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The individual will be trained in multiple job areas, including palletizing spices and reading labels. The role involves climbing a 7-step ladder, heavy lifting, filling hoppers with spices, and reading and mixing spice recipes with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Palletize spices and accurately read labels.

Climb a 7-step ladder and handle heavy lifting to fill hoppers with spices.

Read and mix spice recipes, ensuring attention to detail on labels and boxes.

Perform basic math calculations and identify numbers.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Proficient in reading and mixing spice recipes.

Strong basic math skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience or knowledge in food service.

Forklift operation experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to strong spice smells, ideal for those who enjoy cooking. The warehouse and manufacturing area can be noisy when machines are operating. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment such as masks, smocks, gloves, and goggles. Be prepared to stand for 8-10 hours a day in a large warehouse with significant amounts of spices. The day shift runs from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
