Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our Ogdensburg, NY office. This entry-level clerical role supports customs, logistics, and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service.
As a Customs/Office Clerk , you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of cross-border shipments by preparing import documentation, supporting supply chain activities, and assisting with daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and submit import and customs documentation accurately and on time
Communicate with customers and carriers to support cross-border shipments and supply chain needs
Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records
Assist with eCommerce fulfillment and 3PL operations as required
Support general office administrative tasks including filing, invoicing, and customer correspondence
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational deadlines and service standards

Data Accuracy & Documentation: Ensure precise and timely preparation of customs paperwork and entry data.
Customer Communication: Liaise with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and deliver excellent service.
Multitasking & Team Support: Balance multiple administrative tasks across customs, logistics, and fulfillment functions.
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
Willing to support multiple departments as needed
Eager to learn about customs, import/export, and logistics
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience or education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration is an asset (not required)

This position is part of the Customs & Logistics Operations team , reporting directly to the Customs Manager . It serves as an essential support role ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, and internal departments for import and logistics activities.
