Job Title: Procurement CoordinatorJob Description

Responsible for managing the purchasing flow of materials from third-party vendors and handling Goods and Service purchase orders. This role involves maintaining Material Master and Vendor Maintenance records, ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement process.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Logistics and Procurement Managers to identify inventory requirements for materials.

Execute purchase orders and coordinate shipments, adapting product mixes when necessary to expedite delivery.

Monitor open purchase orders and provide status updates to management.

Coordinate product receipt with Freight Forwarders and Warehouse Managers.

Reconcile invoices from vendors and forwarders before submission to accounts payable.

Work with customer service and freight forwarders to reroute bulk shipments when necessary.

Create and manage purchase orders to meet warehouse requirements from third-party blenders.

Handle the creation and placement of purchase orders for all goods and services, especially those requested by various department managers.

Create and maintain vendor records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Develop and extend material master records for all new and existing materials, in coordination with relevant managers.

Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite, located in a pleasant office environment connected to a manufacturing plant. The company offers a hybrid schedule with remote work available on Fridays. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linden, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $38.46/hr.
