As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control Driver in Catawba, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling the premises. You will be responsible for verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to routine situations with professionalism and exceptional customer service. This is a driving position, so you will use your valid driver's license to navigate the site as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Monitor and control access points at the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter and report irregularities.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and updates.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
