Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in handling essential financial processes and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment reconciliation.

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as processing payments and maintaining customer accounts.

Apply accounting entries and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Process cash applications and monitor transactions for accuracy.

Utilize NetSuite to effectively manage accounting operations and data.

Collaborate with team members to support overall financial reporting and month-end close processes.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to aid decision-making.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

Requirements - Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and principles.

Familiarity with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation methods.

Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and related procedures.

Capability to process accounting entries with precision.

Experience with cash applications and handling financial transactions.

Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
