The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for providing support to the Director of Employee Relations and Equal Employment Opportunity/ AAO in the areas of Employee Relations, Equal Employment Opportunity ( EEO ) and Affirmative Action. Serves as the Accommodation Coordinator. In this capacity, the employee will work closely with the Director of Employee Relations EEO / AAO to review and assess all documentation on individuals with disabilities to ascertain if they have a disability as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and American Disabilities Act ( ADA ) and ADA Amendment Acts ( ADAAA ).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred:

At least two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources; preferably in employee relations. Certified mediator, facilitator and trainer.
