As a Security Officer - Access Control Aero/Defense in Mukilteo, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. Your responsibilities include regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service. Working with an innovative and people-first team, you will play a critical role in upholding security-related standards and supporting those on site through clear communication and integrity-driven actions.

Fri04:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.

Verify identification and credentials of personnel, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.

Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and addressing inquiries.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Operate and monitor surveillance equipment and access control systems as required by the location's protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
