As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Sat09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License

21+ years of age

Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam

Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Perform regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.

Communicate with law enforcement, fire department, and/or emergency medical services as required during incidents at the location.

Report security-related incidents and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.

Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors by offering directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
