As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Hagerstown, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for those onsite. Your regular patrols and clear presence will support the security-related needs of the location while you engage with visitors and staff, providing excellent customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Mon05:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and logistics location, including both indoor and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.

Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents as required by company and location policies.

Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with security-related questions or access as part of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
