As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatch in Niskayuna, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will play a key role in monitoring activity and coordinating responses to security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include overseeing communications, dispatching personnel, and maintaining a visible presence through technology to help to deter unwanted activity. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including response activities as needed.

Operate as a dispatch professional, monitoring communications and coordinating security-related responses within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.

Utilize communication devices and/or systems to relay information and updates promptly to relevant staff and team members.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of incidents, communications, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by providing timely information and coordinating necessary responses.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required and proof must be provided as required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
