As a Security Professional - Industrial Patrol Driver in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed, primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location as required.

Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any issues encountered during shifts.

Support emergency response efforts by guiding personnel and visitors according to site emergency procedures when situations arise.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
