As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Aero/Defense in Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site-specific procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties within an aerospace and defense environment.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid and active concealed carry weapons permit.
Must have an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
