Description

-With the CFO create & update manufacturing bills of material (BOMs) for EDJY products including periodic updates for changes in materials, suppliers, costs, and various usage and scrap rate changes.

-Periodically compare and analyze standard to actual production, labor and overhead costs, coordinating changes thereto with the CFO.

-Coordinating with the CFO to ensure accurate classification of manufacturing facility expenses under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

-Organize and participate in physical inventory counts, summarizing results for mgmt.

-Investigate discrepancies in financial records and perform month-end close activities as directed by the CFO, including journal entries and reconciliations.

-Other functions and tasks assigned by the CFO.

-Prepare, distribute and monitor stand alone and blanket Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely supply & resupply of materials based on supplier & consultant quotes & proposals always in close coordination with the VP of Manufacturing and Distribution (VP-M&D), CFO, an director of R&D

-Maintain close contact with suppliers to adjust delivery schedules as necessary.

-Authorize vendor payments and maintain purchasing and inventories records.

-Recommend primary supply purchases, and alternatives supply options to reduce costs, improve quality or stabilize the supply chain.

-Other functions and tasks assigned by the VP-M&D or CFO.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or operations or equivalent experience in an accounting and/or purchasing role.

-Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

-Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on data analysis.

-Strong skills in Excel and prior experience with NetSuite ERP helpful.

-Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.50/hr.
