Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk that is immediately available and open to contract to hire position. You will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoice processing, and maintaining organized records. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while utilizing your expertise in accounts payable and data entry.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions and vendor information.

Perform accurate data entry tasks to update accounts payable systems.

Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of payments.

Reconcile accounts and prepare reports on accounts payable activities.

Monitor payment schedules to meet deadlines and avoid penalties.

Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and records.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable processes and best practices.

Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with accounting software and tools.

Experience in invoice processing with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to perform data entry efficiently and with minimal errors.

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
