Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose:

As the Enterprise National Account Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales of Corning Optical Communications (COC) products across assigned national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence business strategy and be a part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned national accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met.

Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling products and services.

Serve as a subject matter expert to our Sales Engineers, strategic customers, distribution partners, and any other stakeholders as necessary.

Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with overall company goals to maximize customer retention and profitability.

Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer support) to address client needs and improve customer experience.

Monitor account performance, including sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer challenges to proactively offer solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

Address client concerns and resolve escalations promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Maintain accurate record of sales activities, pipeline updates and partner engagements in SFDC.

Provide regular reports and forecasts to management, highlighting regional trends and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

B.S. or B.A. degree preferred, technical discipline preference

2+ years of experience in sales or business development

Experience achieving or exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication, presentations, and interpersonal skills

Experience assessing data and developing actionable insights

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) & Microsoft Office Suite

The range for this position is $94,281.00 - $129,637.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
