Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and streamline payment processes within our organization. This role is based in Melbourne, Florida, and offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to financial operations in a long-term contract position. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Review, code, and process invoices for approval and payment.

Conduct regular check runs and verify payment accuracy.

Administer Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to optimize payment methods.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all accounts payable activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments.

Work closely with vendors to maintain positive relationships and address payment inquiries.

Monitor and update accounts payable systems to enhance efficiency.

Prepare reports and analyses related to accounts payable functions.

Collaborate with the finance team to support audits and other financial reviews. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management or a related role.

Proficiency in coding invoices and conducting check runs.

Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.

Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships.

Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems.
