Our client, a leader in high-precision engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a US - Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a US - Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting innovative projects and collaborative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

Design and develop high-speed rotating machinery components, including layout and internal parts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using Siemens NX and manage data within Teamcenter.

Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and interpret GD&T to ensure manufacturing precision.

Support gearbox design programs and collaborate closely with project engineers and design teams to meet project milestones.

Apply FEA and topological optimization tools to develop weight-optimized, efficient designs.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience, with proficiency in NX modeling and drafting.

Experience in high-speed rotating machine design, including electric motors, generators, and turbomachinery.

Prior experience as a systems design lead, with a strong understanding of electrical concepts and tolerance analysis.

Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR restrictions.
