Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. This position will focus on handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies. If you have experience in managing invoices, utilizing QuickBooks Online, and supporting financial operations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Review and verify invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Utilize QuickBooks Online and other software to maintain and update financial records.

Prepare and process payroll for a small team of employees, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting as required.

Conduct payment audits to ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies.

Support the transition and implementation of new payroll systems and procedures.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to address payment and billing inquiries. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable roles.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other accounting software.

Strong knowledge of invoice processing and financial record-keeping.

Experience with payroll processing, including compliance with regulations.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and team members.

Familiarity with construction industry accounting practices is a plus but not required.
