Our client, a leader in industrial and scientific solutions, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting large-scale electrical distribution projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, strong communication skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Portage, MI

Pay Range: $42/hr-$44/hr

Shift: M-F 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems.

Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of various design models.

Estimate project timelines and costs to ensure timely completion.

Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems to optimize performance.

Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors to maintain industry standards and innovation.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.

Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.

Strong understanding of electrical theory and its application to engineering projects.

Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
