Job Title: Warehouse Operations

Job Description

The Warehouse Operations role involves performing a mix of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The position ensures efficient product flow from receipt from vendors to shipment to various internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Perform and control tasks related to product receipt, storage, and shipment.

Execute functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery.

Ensure efficient product flow from vendors to customers.

Apply basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks.

Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.

Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures.

Adhere to all quality guidelines.

Work under close supervision with work reviewed for accuracy.

Seek supervisor approval for deviations from the norm.

Essential Skills

2 years of experience working in a warehouse.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF Scanners is nice to have.

Work Environment

The work environment involves physical tasks such as lifting boxes and requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. The role involves working under close supervision, and all tasks are completed within a structured framework. The position is a 3-month contract role with no guarantee of a permanent position.

Job Type & Location

This is a 13 week Contract position based out of Detroit, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
