Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team and provide essential support in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, with expertise in title, survey, and zoning reviews, as well as preparing closing documents. This fully remote position is ideal for a self-starter who can work independently with minimal training.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of title, survey, and zoning reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Prepare and finalize closing documents using pre-established templates and forms.
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of real estate transactions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address any issues or discrepancies identified in property documentation.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required legal documentation for real estate deals.
Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved to facilitate seamless transaction processes.
Maintain meticulous records and manage documentation related to real estate cases.
Stay updated on regulations and best practices in commercial real estate law.
Assist in resolving complex legal issues related to property transactions.
Utilize case management software to organize and track case progress efficiently. Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with 10 years preferred, specializing in real estate law.
Proven ability to independently review and analyze title, survey, and zoning reports.
Proficiency in preparing closing documents for commercial real estate transactions.
Strong familiarity with commercial real estate processes, as opposed to residential.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing legal documentation.
Experience using case management software to streamline workflows.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills to liaise effectively with attorneys and clients.
