Your Responsibilities

As an Environment/Health/Safety Intern for JD Des Moines Works in Ankeny, Iowa , you will:

Support safety program adminstration

Support accident investigations and development of corrective actions

Develop and Deploy Occupational Safety compliance training on various topics

Conduct facility safety walks and audit activities

Conduct data analytics to identify trends in occupational safety data

Root Cause Analysis

Microsoft Office

Training Development

Presentation and Public Speaking Skills

What Makes You Stand Out

Knowledge of OSHA standards

Knowledge of Ergonomics

Experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Safety or Safety Management
