Position Summary...
Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state-of-the-art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, 1% Chocolate Milk, and Cream for Walmart's Great Value and Sam's Club's Member's Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart's commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high-quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam's Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.
What you'll do...
Schedules and coordinates meetings conferences and appointments Manages and coordinates office schedules and calendars Handles incoming and outgoing mail and packages Develops and executes Human Resources HR strategies that support the organizations goals and objectives Conducts a thorough analysis of current HR policies processes and programs to identify gaps and areas for improvement Provides expertise and guidance on HR policies procedures and compliance with employment laws and regulations Processes a variety of reports and accounts for example associate reimbursement vouchers purchase orders accounts payable corporate card payments supply orders Sends leave of absence LOA notifications and follows up with Sedgewick on LOA claims status Processes all new hire paperwork for example I9s files new hire paperwork and answers new associate questions Conducts research and analysis to stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR strategy Organizes a positive recruiting experience for new associates including posting requisitions prescreening candidates scheduling interviews and processing job offers Prepares onboarding schedules paperwork and emails for new hires Conducts new hire orientations as needed Processes payroll reports enters yellow slips and punch changes into system manages attendance reporting and processes missing pay requests and other matters related to associate payroll Calculates and processes employee wages based on hours worked salaries commissions or other agreedupon payment terms Generates reports related to payroll expenses tax liabilities and employee earnings for internal recordkeeping and compliance purposes Assists with the preparation and filing of payroll tax forms for example Form 941 Form 940 to ensure compliance with tax regulations Integrates with time and attendance systems to automate the calculation of employee hours worked and streamline payroll processing Manages associate engagement activities by updating slides for associate birthdays and anniversaries Plans engagement events Places orders for engagement items and food Tracks engagement budgets Processes associate of the month and recognition awards and payments Prepares engagement meetings and listening sessions Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback Respect the Individual: Embraces differences in people cultures ideas and experiences creates a workplace where associates feel seen supported and connected through a culture of belonging creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform helps to attract the best talent Respect the Individual: Works as a team builds strong and trusting relationships communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence Respect the Individual: Strengthens the team by helping developing and mentoring others recognizes others contributions and accomplishments Act with Integrity: Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity ethics and compliance models the Walmart values to support and foster our culture holds oneself and others accountable supports Walmarts goal of becoming a regenerative company by making a positive impact for associates customers members and the world around us Act with Integrity: Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble selfaware honest fair and transparent Serve our Customers and Members Delivers results while putting the customer first Serve our Customers and Members Makes decisions based reliable information balances short and longterm priorities and considers how own work impacts the teams ability to deliver on our purpose for all stakeholders Strive for Excellence: Displays curiosity and a desire to learn takes calculated risks and demonstrates courage and resilience Strive for Excellence: Drives continuous improvements is open to and uses new technologies and skills and supports others through change At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. The hourly wage range for this position is $24.30 - $26.30The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
