ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary objective of this position is to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Amrize maintenance workforce, service companies & contractors by managing complex maintenance projects in a timely fashion. The position will create complex and large scale maintenance projects and deliver them to employees with detailed job plans, including technical specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safety procedures in a very organized fashion. As well as by working with team members and individually to review
each work order and job site to insure that the work is reasonable and valid, that no influencing constraints are present and that all the preparatory works are performed before job scheduling.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the implementation of more complex and larger scale plans in the Amrize Maintenance Management System (MMS) - e.g., MAC/SAP in all aspects of maintenance activities. From work identification through planning, scheduling and execution, working with other planners to divide work out appropriately.
The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the accuracy and continuous updating of maintenance master data - part numbers, bills of materials, work order history, etc. within the Maintenance Management System and partnering with the Maintenance Manager to identify and reconcile any discrepancies
The Maintenance Planner II is responsible to ensure the equipment maintenance strategy for predictive and preventative maintenance, repair and annual maintenance, as established by the Maintenance Manager, is realized in the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plan.
The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for adding pertinent information to work orders, as required, to facilitate the comprehension of the execution team. This includes defining a clearly the scope of work to be performed, establishing the preparatory work required prior to scheduled equipment down time, developing a detailed job plan with all the work sequences involved to adequately complete the repairs, as well as equipment downtime and work-hours required, including partnering with other planners to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for determining the cost involved for parts and supplies for each work order and ensuring that such costs are communicated and forecasted accurately to maintenance management.
The Maintenance Planner II will work closely with procurement and warehousing to ensure that all non- stock parts and materials as required by the job plan.
The Maintenance Planner II will lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalent experience with HS Diploma / GED.
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering
Required Work Experience: 5 years
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office
Travel Requirements: 10%
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
