About the team: As a Data Scientist, you will be actively contributing to ZF's digitalization strategy by challenging, experimenting and adopting Artificial Intelligence and Data Science methods and technologies, fostering and transferring knowledge and experience within ZF to explore potentials and create value for our business partners. You will run cost-effective data dive-ins on complex high volume data from a variety of sources and develop data solutions in close cooperation with business departments to get the maximum value out of data to uncover new business potentials across our entire value chain.

What to look forward to as a Data Scientist:

Design, support, consult, and implement Data Science, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in use case projects

Lead and execute development projects of proto@type and scalable Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutionsEvaluate technology (ex: Industry 4.0) trends and methods in area of Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

Ensure a sustainable incorporation of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence skills and knowledge within ZF and/or within assigned area

Establish Data Science and Artificial Intelligence related routines, develop data and Analytics standards and guidelines, create, live & share a "ZF data mindset"

Engage in ideation workshops to identify relevant use cases within ZF, actively advise internal customers and pass on gained know-how at different ZF locations for all Data Science, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence related questions and requests

Your profile as a Data Scientist:

Bachelor's degree in technical field (Masters preferred) with fundamental knowledge of data science, (big data) analytics and AI technologies, processes and procedure models

3+ years of related experience in data science, (big data) analytics, statistics, artificial intelligence, application development and other related disciplines, ideally from the manufacturing industry

Very good knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning and other related statistical and/or artificial intelligence methods (e.g. Deep Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, Neural Networks)

Profound knowledge of programming languages and the associated data & analytics frameworks/libraries and analytics tools and technology (mainly platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Databricks, NoSQL, MS Power Apps/BI, Apache Spark etc.)
