Integrated Management System Manager

Responsible for the Quality function at Parco and driving standardization and consistency throughout the GI organization in the Americas.

Responsibilities

Maintains and improves the quality management system in relation to AS9100, ISO 9000, and NADCAP requirements.

Supervises quality and material development department employees and activities.

Helps other departments resolve quality problems.

Assists other departments to improve product and process quality and handle quality-related matters.

Recommends specific product and process improvements to the president and other department heads;

Represents the quality department at regular and unscheduled meetings at Parco;

Schedules and supervises internal audits.

Manages the corrective action program.

Manages the customer and vendor complaint process.

Visits customers to represent Parco about quality-related matters.

Represents Parco for second-party and third-party audits.

Responds to customer requests for non-routine quality projects and information.

Will initiate and assist in the standardization and consistency of quality departments in other locations.

Experience Required

Five years managing the quality function of a small-to-medium size manufacturer.

Education Required

College degree with emphasis in engineering or business administration.

Skills

Strong supervisory skills.

Ability to train and develop subordinates.

Thorough knowledge of popular quality system requirements.

Very good use of Microsoft Windows and Office programs.

Very good verbal and written communication skills.

Good technical instruction writer.

Some knowledge of the rubber seal manufacturing process preferred.
