As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Duluth, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will create a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond promptly to situations, and communicate clearly with all parties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policy.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or local law enforcement as needed.
Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
