As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to promote a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication to everyone onsite. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by communicating professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institutions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Assist in emergency response activities, including guiding people to designated areas, when appropriate.
Document and report all incidents and actions taken during the shift according to company and client protocols.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
