What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and clients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and logging visitors as required.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
Communicate professionally and clearly with internal team members, clients, and visitors to support the overall security-related operations of the location.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to daily activities and incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
