As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors, responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with location procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying working conditions as required by the site.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
