As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Driver in Tacoma, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, engage with people on site, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following company and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe, report, and document any unusual occurrences or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in controlling access to designated areas, verifying identification, and monitoring for unauthorized entry.
Support the maintenance of an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and property at the location.
Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential disruptions or hazards in the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
