As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Anniston, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents within an aerospace and defense environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be required to drive as part of your duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized entry procedures for all personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter areas to help to deter suspicious activity and address any concerns, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, breaches of access, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with client personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence at assigned post to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
